A Disneyland adventure awaits Laurel Temple after scoring the top prize of $50,000 playing BCLC’s Merry Money Multiplier Scratch & Win game.
The Campbell River resident was at home when she opted to scratch the ticket while waiting for her family to play a card game together.
“At first I thought it was just $5,” she recalled. “I couldn’t believe it. I had my husband help me count the zeros!”
On top of a trip to Disneyland, Temple plans to take a Mexican vacation with family and some house renovations are also in her future.
Temple purchased the winning ticket from Pharmasave on South Island Highway in Campbell River.
