“Best Thing Ever!”: Delta Resident Scores $500,000 from Daily Grand

Avid sports fan James Salisbury couldn’t believe his eyes when he learned he won $500,000 from the September 4, 2025 Daily Grand draw. 

“I was at home when I found out I won [using the BCLC Lotto! App],” recalled Salisbury. “I couldn’t believe it; it was really exciting!” 

The Delta resident first shared the news with his sister and his best friend. “They were really excited for me!” 

Salisbury plans to visit family to celebrate his win and will pay off his mortgage.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on 56th Street in Delta.
