Rodolfo Gramata screamed before waking up his wife Maria Victoria Gramata, after learning that the pair won a $500,000 Extra prize from the October 28, 2025 Lotto Max draw.
“I woke up and scanned [our ticket] on the [BCLC Lotto!] app,” recalled Rodolfo of the moment he realized he and his wife won. “I was shaking. I told my wife first and I woke up the family.”
“I was screaming and crying!” Maria Victoria recalled.
The Vancouver residents plan to use their winnings for a down payment for a home and also save for their investments and retirement.
“I also dream of going on a cruise. Alaska would be nice,” said Maria Victoria.

“We are happy!” said Rodolfo.
The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven on Knight Street and 33rd Avenue in Vancouver.
