For Adam Snider, his recent 1-million windfall from the December 9, 2025 Lotto Max draw can be best described as a “mid-life gift” — for many reasons.
“This win makes things easier. It provides me with a clear path to retirement and allows me to buy property,” said Snider. “It’s a nice mid-life gift!”
Snider first discovered his win the day after the draw during his typical morning routine and was taken aback after discovering the good news.
“I got up at 5:00 a.m. like I do every day, with my wife and golden retriever, Gary. After I got up, I remembered the Lotto Max ticket. I opened my PlayNow account to check and saw a bunch of numbers at the top of the page!
Naturally, Gary and Snider’s wife were the first to find out about his big win.
“I ran to tell my wife. She was in shock at first but then was fired up about the win.”
In addition to mapping out his retirement goals and purchasing some property, Snider looks forward to the financial ease the win will provide during an upcoming trip to Europe.
“I’m going to Europe next year for a wedding and will now be able to splurge,” he said.
