Ming Huang was picking up a few items at a supermarket when he discovered some extra special news and ended up leaving with something that wasn’t on the shopping list — disbelief after finding out that he matched 4/4 Extra numbers from the September 30, 2025 Lotto Max draw.
“I scanned it and then when I saw that it said I was a winner I could not believe it,” recalled Huang. “I didn’t say anything at first, then asked the cashier to scan it and he said that it was a big one!”
The Surrey resident couldn’t wait to share the news with his wife.
“I called my wife and told her. She didn’t believe me,” he exclaimed.
The news of the big win is still sinking in for Huang, and said he is “still in shock” and hasn’t been able to think about his plans for the prize quite yet.
