Patricia Ross had an extra exciting day after learning that she won a $500,000 Extra prize from the September 2, 2025 Lotto Max draw.
“I was at home and checked [the numbers] online,” recalled Ross of the moment she realized she won. “I couldn’t believe it; I was in disbelief!”
The Gibsons resident first shared the news with her son. “He couldn’t believe it either!”
Ross didn’t have specific plans on how to celebrate but did share, “I did ring the bell at the legion and that meant I was going to buy a drink for the house!”
“I’m quite happy. I feel like a lottery winner!”
The winning ticket was purchased at a lotto kiosk inside Sunnycrest Mall on Gibsons Way in Gibsons.
