Shannon T. was at a gas station, looking at different Scratch & Win tickets. While looking at the display case, a ticket caught her eye. The ticket she selected was BCLC’s $5 The Big Spin, which ended up landing her one of the ticket’s Top Prizes; the chance to spin The Big Spin wheel at BCLC’s Vancouver office.
“I was on my way to work,” recalled Shannon. “When I found out I won, I called my mom. I protected the ticket while at work by putting it into a rubber glove so it didn’t get wet!”
Surrounded by her family and BCLC staff cheering for her, Shannon completed her spin on The Big Spin wheel on Thursday, June 4, scoring $125,000.
After her Big Spin was completed, Shannon shared that she plans to celebrate with a nice dinner with her family.
Shannon also mentioned she wants to complete home renovations and purchase a new black car.
