Susan F. was out grocery shopping and on a whim, she decided to buy a lottery ticket even though she wasn’t at her usual store. The impulse purchase worked out well for Susan, as she later learned she won a $100,000 MAXPLUS prize from the May 8, 2026 Lotto Max draw.
“I was at Chevron and I scanned the ticket on the self-scanner,” recalled Susan of the moment she realized she won. “My first thought was that it was a mistake. I scanned it again, then scanned it a third time and then thought ‘okay!’ It wasn’t until I scanned it the second and third time that I realized I won!”
The Surrey resident hasn’t decided yet on what to do with her windfall. “I’m still processing that I won!”
