Stuart D. was sipping his coffee on a Saturday morning and decided to check his lottery ticket. At first, he thought it wasn’t a winner but it turns out he was wrong, as he ended up winning a $100,000 MAXPLUS prize from the October 16, 2026 Lotto Max draw.
“I manually went over my ticket,” recalled Stuart. “Then I used my phone because I have the [BCLC Lotto! Mobile] app and when I scanned my ticket and it came up as a winner!”
The Kamloops resident plans to celebrate with a nice dinner.
With his windfall, Stuart shared he wants to travel and contribute to his investments.
On how it feels to win?
“It means a lot to me. Excitement for sure!”
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Canada on Powwow Trail in Kamloops.
