Jaspreet K. picked up more than her friends from the airport; it turns out she also picked up a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket from the May 20, 2026 draw, scoring $143,758.50 by matching five out of six numbers plus the bonus.
“I bought the ticket on a whim” recalled Jaspreet. “My family friends were coming from England, and I picked them up at the airport!
After learning she won by checking the BCLC Lotto! App, the Surrey resident screamed in excitement. “My whole family was there, and everyone was shocked.”
With her winnings, Jaspreet is going to help her kids and plan a nice vacation. She also shared she wants to donate to some charities.
