Ryan S. was doing a grocery run when BCLC’s The Big Spin Scratch & Win tickets caught his eye. He ended up winning one of the ticket’s top prizes – a chance to spin The Big Spin wheel at BCLC’s Vancouver office!
Ryan first learned he had a chance to spin The Big Spin wheel, after scanning his ticket with the BCLC Lotto! App. “Then I took it to [Cascades Casino Kamloops] to check. My heart was going 300 miles per hour. I asked the casino if they had medical aid!”
The Chase resident first shared the news with his wife. “I had to explain to her what the 'big spin’ meant!”
With his wife and BCLC staff cheering him on, Ryan completed his spin on The Big Spin wheel on Friday, February 20, winning a whopping $275,000.
BCLC’s first The Big Spin top prize winner didn’t have any immediate plans on how to spend his windfall but described winning as “amazing!”
The winning ticket was purchased at Real Canadian Superstore on Columbia Street in Kamloops.
