Maria S. was ecstatic to share with her coworkers that they won a $500,000 Extra prize from the May 27, 2026 Lotto 6/49 draw.
“I was at work when I found out we won,” recalled Maria. “I was so happy, I hugged a coworker!”
The Burnaby resident first shared the news with her 13 coworkers. “Everyone was excited!”
Following the prize claim at BCLC’s Vancouver office, Maria shared that the group of 14 were going out to eat together to celebrate their win.
The winning ticket was purchased at a lotto kiosk at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby.
