Jessica D. startled her family when she couldn’t contain her screams after learning she won $100,000 from a $5 777 Scratch & Win, the game’s Top Prize.
“I checked with the [BCLC] Lotto! App,” recalled Jessica. “I was yelling throughout the house and the kids thought something was wrong, until I told them what happened. Then we were all yelling!”
The Kamloops resident plans to celebrate by hosting a pool party for all her friends. Jessica also shared she will treat her kids and then save the rest of her winnings.
On how it feels to win?
“Disbelief is where I’m at. It almost feels like it’s not real.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Dallas Park Store on Dallas Drive in Kamloops.
