Clifford F. had to do a double take after scratching his Set for Life Scratch & Win ticket and seeing the word “annuity” on the BCLC Lotto! App. It turns out that Clifford won the Top Prize of $675,000.
“My first thought when I saw annuity was, ‘What does that mean?’” recalled Clifford. “I knew what the word meant, but in this context [while double checking my ticket] I wasn’t too sure!”
After scanning the ticket on the BCLC Lotto! App again, the Kelowna resident sent his cousins a photo of the ticket. “One cousin came back and said, ‘You won $15’ and I said, ‘Look again!’ It’s just all so unbelievable!”
Clifford plans to celebrate with a trip to Mexico followed by a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday.

Set for Life’s Top Prize is $1,000 per week for a period of 25 years, or a single lump sum payment of $675,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Save-On-Foods on Dobbin Road in West Kelowna.
