Marguerite K. likes to try different Scratch & Win tickets and asked her retailer what tickets were new that she could try. The ticket that they pointed out was BCLC’s The Big Spin, which ended up landing her one of the Top Prizes; the chance to spin The Big Spin wheel at BCLC’s Vancouver office!
Upon recalling the moment she realized she won the chance to spin The Big Spin wheel, the Powell River resident shared that, “The retailer was more excited than I was!”
With her friends and BCLC staff cheering for her, Marguerite completed her spin on The Big Spin wheel on Thursday, May 7, scoring a whopping $400,000.
After spinning the wheel, Marguerite shared, “I wondered if it would stop at $400,000; then when it did, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, wow, it did!’”
With her winnings, Marguerite plans to purchase a car and complete renovations on her home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Save-On-Foods on Alberni Street at Powell River Town Centre.
