David and Movana A. were shocked to learn they won the top prize of $100,000 from the $5 BC Riches Scratch & Win.
David first shared the news with his mom, Movana. “David came over and authenticated [the ticket] on the [BCLC Lotto!] app with me. I sure was surprised,” said Movana, who lives in Richmond.
David, a Vancouver resident, plans to use his winnings to repair and update his car with customization, including new rims and custom seats.
On how it feels to win?
“I’ll take care of my mother and make sure she’s happy,” shared David.
The winning ticket was purchased at Owl Drugs on Hastings and Main Street in Vancouver.
