Ronald P. was at home by his desk and decided to look at the winning February 24, 2026 Lotto Max lottery numbers online. He was in for a big shock, after learning that he won $500,000 from the draw, splitting a Maxmillion prize with another player in Ontario.
“At first, I looked at the numbers and thought, ‘No I didn’t win anything,’” recalled Ronald. “Then I looked at the next set, as I saw there was a winner in North Vancouver.”
After checking his numbers manually online, the North Vancouver resident called BCLC customer support. “They told me to download the [BCLC] Lotto! App to scan and confirm!”
Ronald first shared the news with his wife. “I told her to come inside and asked her to read the numbers and she checked them off. She then said, ‘What does that mean?’ and I replied with ‘We won half a million dollars!’”
As an avid golfer, Ronald shared plans to use his winnings to purchase a new putter and invest the rest. He also shared that this windfall would improve how he lives his life and also improve his putting.
The winning ticket was purchased at Thrifty Foods on Edgemont Boulevard in North Vancouver.
