BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Community Stories
Supporting community initiatives
From the opening of Cascades Casino Delta in late 2022 through December 31, 2024, the City of Delta has received $3,739,482 in net gambling income. These revenues have been transferred to the City’s Casino Reserve Fund, where they are being held to support future municipal projects.
As of 2024, the reserve has reached a level that allows the City to begin planning for the use of these funds. During the 2026 budget planning process this fall, Delta City Council will consider allocating gambling revenue to support key initiatives such as the Ladner Village Revitalization and potential projects identified in the Parks Master Plan, which is currently in development.
Festival of Trees
In 2024, Cascades Casino Delta held its inaugural Festival of Trees, where non-profit organizations decorated trees displayed on-site. Visitors and staff voted by contributing a non-perishable food item or toy. All collected items were donated to Deltassist Family & Community Services, and the three organizations with the most votes—Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society, Delta Stroke Recovery Society, and Guru Nanak Food Bank—received a share of a $2,250 prize.
