Fort St. John

BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Revenue generated by gambling goes back to the Province of B.C. and is distributed in a variety of ways, including to communities through Host Local Government payments and the Province of B.C.'s Community Gaming Grants.

Community Gaming Grants

Last year, 28 not-for-profit organizations in Fort St. John received Community Gaming Grants, totalling $459,300. This funding supports organizations in the human and social services sector, public safety, sports, arts and culture, and parent advisory councils.

Organizations in Fort St. John that received a Community Gaming Grant last year include: 

  • Totem Nursery Preschool Society
  • Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society
  • Fort St. John Figure Skating Club

Did you know?

In 2024, Chances Casino Fort St. John supported a range of local organizations and events through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer engagement. Beneficiaries included the City of Fort St. John’s High on Ice Festival, FSJ Senior Flyers Hockey, the Canadian Cancer Society, Fort St. John Literacy Society, and the Fort St. John Fire Fighters Charitable Society
