BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Revenue generated by gambling goes back to the Province of B.C. and is distributed in a variety of ways, including to communities through Host Local Government payments and the Province of B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program.

In 2024/25, Cascades Casino Langley contributed to the Langley community and economy in a variety of ways. Here are just a few.

Supporting infrastructure

In 2024, the City of Langley allocated its share of provincial gambling revenue toward several municipal projects. This included $2.8 million for the acquisition of land for future municipal buildings, $2.8 million for the purchase of a new Fire Ladder Truck, and $2.5 million for infrastructure improvements. In 2025, planned allocations include $4.9 million for the replacement of water and sewer infrastructure, and $1.9 million for upgrades to roads, sidewalks, and multi-use paths.

In November, the team at Cascades Casino Langley participated in Make-A-Wish Canada - BC and Yukon Chapter’s inaugural Trees of Joy event. As part of the initiative, they helped grant a wish for 8-year-old Vian, spending a magical morning together decorating a tree with his favourite characters and special ornaments. The event highlighted the impact of community partnerships for the Cascades Langley team.
