Leading up to the first pitch of Game 1, more than half of the money was on the Jays to require all three games to end the Mariners’ season (3.35), compared to the 37 per cent of bets that are on Toronto to sweep Seattle at 2.80 odds.

Players can also bet on who will hit a home run during the series, will Toronto hit a walk off home run (5.00), and if there will be a rare no hitter (31.00).
When it comes to who will win the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers, who were the best team in the majors this season, stand alone as the betting favourite (4.00). Just behind the Dodgers are the AL West champion Houston Astros (4.75), with the Atlanta Braves (6.00) and New York Yankees (6.50) in the mix.
