Sandra F. bought a Set for Life Scratch & Win ticket and set it aside for a few days. Once she scratched it, she couldn’t believe her eyes and had to get her family to also check that she really did win the ticket’s Top Prize of $675,000.
“My family had gone to bed and I saw the ticket had been sitting there a few days, so I decided to scratch it,” recalled Sandra. “I didn’t believe that I’d won, so I put it in a drawer and brought it out the next day to have my family check it!”
The Fort Nelson resident used the BCLC Lotto! App to check her ticket, but her husband and two sons also read the instructions and confirmed the ticket was a winner.
Sandra plans to surprise the rest of her family with “a little celebration.”
While she is taking some time to decide what to do with her windfall, she plans to save and invest some of winnings and also help family.
