Dianne K. was eating a sandwich at home when she received a notification that she had won a prize. She signed onto PlayNow.com and found out she had won $500,000 playing the Extra on Lotto 6/49 for the September 19, 2026 draw. She said she saw more zeros than she was expecting.
“I was shaking after seeing the amount, I never did finish my breakfast,” said Dianne.
The first person she shared the news with was her 91-year-old father. “He was excited for me!”
When asked what it feels like to win, the Kamloops resident said for the first time in her life she will be mortgage free.
