Fang Zhou W. picked up something sweeter than dessert on his way over to a friend’s house, when decided to check his lottery tickets in-store. While shopping, he realized he had won a $100,000 MAXPLUS prize from the October 6, 2026 Lotto Max draw.
“I was grabbing some desserts on the way to a friend’s home for dinner,” recalled the Surrey resident. “The lady checking my ticket was very excited!”
Fang Zhou first shared the news with his wife.
“My wife and child were with me and my wife thought it was only $1,000. I had to show her again in the car and she was surprised!”
Fang Zhou plans to save his windfall so he can move to a larger home.
