Spirit of Coquitlam Grant Program

In 2023, the City of Coquitlam used a portion of its share of provincial gambling revenue generated at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver to provide grants to local non-profit and community-based organizations.

The Spirit of Coquitlam Grant program helps these organizations host events, offer support programs, purchase equipment and realize capital projects to advance community initiatives that benefit local residents.

Last year, this program helped fund equipment for Coastal Partners in Conversation to monitor species at risk in Coquitlam parks, radio equipment for Coquitlam Amateur Radio Emergency Services Society to enhance emergency response and outdoor equipment for youth programs with Scouts Canada.
