BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Revenue generated by gambling goes back to the Province of B.C. and is distributed in a variety of ways, including to communities through Host Local Government payments and the Province of B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program.

In 2023/24, Cascades Casino Langley contributed to the Langley community and economy in a variety of ways. Here are just a few.

Supporting infrastructure

In 2023, the City of Langley allocated $6 million toward strategic land acquisitions to provide more space for vital equipment and enable replacements of infrastructure to seismic standards. Another $1.4 million was allocated to water and sewer projects, allowing the City to replace aging infrastructure and increase capacity as it plans for future densification around the upcoming Skytrain developments.

Did you know?

In August 2023, Cascades Casino Langley completed their $25,000 commitment to support the new Doug and Fran MacDonald Langley Hospice Residence. This 15-bed facility provides a home-like environment in keeping with the hospice philosophy, and their ongoing commitment to ensure care and support for individuals, their families and friends as they face this final journey.
