BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Revenue generated by gambling goes back to the Province of B.C. and is distributed in a variety of ways, including to communities through Host Local Government payments and the Province of B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program.

In 2023/24, Chances Casino Terrace contributed to the Terrace community and economy in a variety of ways. Here are just a few.

Community Gaming Grants

In 2023/24, the Province of B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program supported not-for-profit organizations in Terrace with more than $944,000 distributed across 25 organizations. This funding supports the delivery of accessible and inclusive programs and services within the community.

BCLC is proud to sponsor Riverboat Days, the largest community festival in Northwest British Columbia. Each year, starting August long weekend, residents and visitors can participate in fun, affordable family entertainment ranging from sports events, to music, theatre performances, historical tours and much more.
