Delta Gaming Facility Project | BCLC
In November 2016, BCLC selected the City of Delta as its preferred host community for a potential new gambling and entertainment facility in Metro Vancouver’s South of the Fraser region.
A new facility for the City of Delta received final approval from BCLC on November 13, 2018. Cascades Casino Delta, which will be operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, will include a hotel, restaurants, meeting space, and a casino with approximately 500 slot machines, 24 table games, and up to six electronic table games.
The approval follows extensive reviews of the market opportunity, business case, health impacts, and municipal approval process to ensure that the project met all legislated requirements under the Gaming Control Act.
Design of the new Cascades Casino Delta reflects feedback from the public, as received through community engagement events including stakeholder briefings, public presentations, information sessions, and open houses.
Construction progress is currently on schedule for the Casino opening targeting Fall 2022, with amenities such as Match & The Buffet also scheduled to open. Subsequent phases include a Delta by Marriott Hotel and Atlas Restaurant. Please watch this space for more updates.
