Claim by Mail
Not in a rush? Claim your prize by mail—just allow a little extra time.
Mail Prize Claims
If you won a prize up to $24,999.99, you can claim it by mailing your winning ticket to BCLC. Once your claim has been processed, winnings will be issued by cheque and mailed to you.
Check that your ticket is valid and mail it before it expires! Lottery and PROLINE tickets are valid for one year after the draw date or event. Scratch & Win tickets are valid until the expiration date printed on the back of the ticket.
When mailing tickets through Canada Post or other couriers, we recommend using Registered Mail to track your ticket. All risks of mailed claims remain with the ticket owner.
For Registered Mail, send your claim to:
BCLC Head Office
74 West Seymour Street
Kamloops, BC
V2C 1E2
For regular mail (without tracking), send your claim to:
BCLC
P.O. Box 1080
Kamloops, BC
B2C 6H2
How and when will I receive my prize?
Mail claims typically take longer to be processed due to delivery times and Canada Post/courier schedules. For a quicker payout, we recommend submitting an online prize claim.
When your claim arrives at BCLC, our team will process it and may contact you if additional information is required. Once your claim is processed, you can expect to receive your prize cheque within 15 business days.
