Gregory Edge will be jetting off to the Big Apple with his family this Christmas thanks to his recent $100,000 Boom Multiplier Scratch & Win Prize.
The Port Coquitlam resident purchased his ticket from the Mary Hill Town Pantry on Kingsway Avenue after seeing the ticket name and thinking it would be a fun one to try.
Edge was at home when he found out the surprising news.
“My daughter was beside me and I was in such shock that I had her read out the amount and then my wife screamed,” he recalled.
Aside from a trip to New York, Edge plans to invest a part of his prize and looks forward to being able to plan long-term.
Edge is grateful for his windfall and when asked what his dream would be if he won a major jackpot prize he said, “I would build my dream home in the Okanagan, travel and spend my time volunteering.”
