Community Gaming Grants

Last year, the Province of B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program distributed more than $800,000 to several community organizations in Mission, including 15 human and social services organizations. This funding supports the delivery of accessible and inclusive programs and services within the community. Organizations in Mission that received a Community Gaming Grant last year include the Mission Friendship Centre Society, the Lifetime Learning Centre Society, and the Mission Association for Community Living.

Waterfront Region Development

In 2019, the City of Mission supported the development of the City’s waterfront with provincial gambling revenue it received from hosting Chances Mission. This area has the potential to drive economic benefits in Mission and the region for years to come.
