Maple Ridge

BCLC is proud to give back to the citizens of B.C. and help communities grow. Revenue generated by gambling goes back to the Province of B.C. and is distributed in a variety of ways, including to communities through Host Local Government payments and the Province of B.C.'s Community Gaming Grants program.

In 2022/23, Chances Maple Ridge contributed to the Maple Ridge community and economy in a variety of ways. Here are just a few.

Community Gaming Grants

Last year, 38 human and social services along with sport focused organizations in Maple Ridge received Community Gaming Grants, totally more than $1.65 million. This funding supports the delivery of accessible and inclusive programs and services within the community. 

Organizations in Maple Ridge that received a Community Gasming Grant last year include: 

  • Ridge Meadow Minor Hockey Association
  • Friends in Need Food Bank Society
  • One Way Club Society

Did you know?

In 2022, Great Canadian Entertainment made donations to a variety of organizations from gambling revenue from Chances Maple Ridge. Alisa's Wish Child & Youth Advocacy Centre and Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation each received donations of $1,000 or more.
