CTA: Button > Secondary
This component helps users perform actions.
Usage Criteria
This component helps users carry out secondary actions on the website, such as viewing more information on one of many topics, or navigating back a page.
Do's and Don'ts
- Do not put multiples of this component directly side by side or stacked. If there are multiple CTA buttons on a page, please have some dividing content in between the components.
Design Notes
If the action that needs to be performed is important, or is part of the main function of the page or section, then CTA: Button > Primary may be the appropriate component to use instead, as it draws more emphasis and attention.
Configurable Options
This component is configured with a CTA label and Target URL. The icon can be configured to match the purpose of the button, such as a telephone if the CTA links to a phone number, or right arrow if it is an internal link.
