Content Block: Bio

This component is meant to display information about employees.

Usage Criteria

This component is used to provide information about company employees, their positions, and backgrounds. It shortens the content to a scannable length by hiding the rest behind a CTA with the option to expand. 

Do's and Don'ts

• Do not use this component for anything other than the intended use, which is displaying employee biographies.
• Do not mix different image configurations of this component in the same group (ie. adding images to some bios and not others)

Design Notes

When looking for a component with a similar layout for non-bio content, please consider the CTA: Text with Image or Content Block: Card > Expandable (Image).

Configurable Options

The body copy visible on the component in the collapsed state (not expanded) is determined by a configurable Character cutoff. There is also an optional field for Job title. The layout of the component is determined by whether an image has been included.
